The extraordinary success of the Mondial Choral Loto-Québec 2005, with more than half a million spectators attending the event, confirmed Laval as the Capital of Choir Singing. This international event is back in force for 2006 with dynamic originator/artistic director Gregory Charles presiding over the event once again, assisted by a team of capable partners. The experience acquired in 2005 makes it possible to raise the bar even higher in 2006 and Gregory Charles intends to offer an even broader musical spectrum of choir singing encompassing a wide range of musical genres.
The 2008 edition includes:
On the menu: popular, traditional, profane and sacred music, jazz, gospel, classical music, world beat, a capella and polyphonic music, to be specified in the coming weeks with the progressive unveiling of the 2006 program schedule.
