Maison des arts de Laval

The Maison des arts de Laval (MDA) is a major hub for cultural and artistic activities, and the only municipal art dissemination centre in the region. Its main hall, the Théâtre des Muses (a 335-seat theatre), hosts a diversified program featuring theatre, dance and performing and performing arts for a young audience. The world music series that is presented in the courtyard every summer is gaining in popularity. The place is also home to the Salle Alfred-Pellan, a museum institute where projects of national scope are presented. The MDA is known for the depth of its arts outreach activities and the quality of its equipment.

Salle Alfred-Pellan :
Tuesday to Saturday : 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.;
Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.;

Salle Alfred-Pellan is a remarkable exhibition hall that is renowned nationally. Thanks to its exceptional size, professional equipment and diversified programme, this hall is widely appreciated by contemporary art aficionados. It hosts individual and collective exhibitions, including painting, sculpture, photography, art installations and performances.

Each year, Salle Alfred-Pellan hosts four exhibitions featuring the works of professional or emerging artists. The works of these artists is inspired by current events, whether aesthetically, socially or emotionally. 

AMENITIES :
Thanks to its artistic mediation programme, Maison des arts invites the public to complete a family cultural outing with parent-child creation workshops, a post-show meet and greet with the artists and a guided tour of the exhibitions presented at Salle Alfred-Pellan. Several subscription and group reservation packages are offered.
