More than just a restaurant, it’s a place that inspires relaxation, laughter, and heartfelt conversations—and just reading the menu is enough to whet your appetite. Café au lait, brioches, tartares, breakfast poutine… it’s hard to choose, because everything is delicious! 

In the morning  

To kick off your cultural journey, stop by to the Maison des arts de Laval, a true cultural hub. Visit the Salle Alfred-Pellan, which features contemporary art exhibitions that challenge and delight. You’ll discover works by artists from here and abroad in a bright, airy space. 

For dinner  

At noon, havee Centropolis your playground and stop by Balthazar, famous for its atmosphere, cuisine, and beer selection. If the sun is out, enjoy the terrace and soak up the excitement of downtown.

In the afternoon

Once you’ve eaten well, laughed heartily, and enjoyed a few drinks, Old Sainte-Rose awaits you. With its historic houses, charming shops, and quaint alleyways, it’s the perfect place to wander. You can also visit the La Vieille Caserne Art Gallery, a former fire station converted into an exhibition space.

For dinner

The sun is starting to set, and it's time to eat. Choose the Terrace Cielo, located at the top of the Courtyard by Marriott. This panoramic restaurant offers spectacular views of Laval and a selection ofItalian that will blow you away. With its cozy atmosphere and a sunset to top it all off, you’ll enjoy an experience like no other.

In the evening 

The evening continues with a show at the Salle André-Mathieu or elsewhere (Place Bell, Théâtre Marcellin-Champagnat, etc.). In Laval, comedy, theater, and music are on the agenda every night. Be sure to book your summer “show” experience.

As you step through the doors of the Cosmodome—Canada’s only interactive space museum—you’ll have access to immersive missions and captivating exhibits. You can even examine a moon rock! And you’ll see: just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you won’t be fascinated.

Off to Espace Montmorency! After enjoying its courtyard to unwind, grab a table at Sésame, a Pan-Asian restaurant that will dazzle you with its fresh and colorful cuisine. 

In the afternoon

Round out your stay in Laval at the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles Park Exploration Center and discover the exhibition “Unbelievable, but True!” From colonization to the rise of commuter towns on both sides of its banks, you’ll experience aenvironmental environmentale, culturaland and civic, rich and full of surprises.

To end on a high note

Before heading home, stop by the Insulaires, a microbrewery in Laval where the atmosphere is just as great as the beer. Sample brews made with local hops and berries, and raise a glassz to this weekend—as exotic yet close from home.
