The André-Benjamin-Papineau house is one of the oldest witnesses to Laval’s history. Built in 1820, this stone house recounts the life of the 19th century and the story of an influential family: that of André-Benjamin Papineau. Carefully restored, it now welcomes visitors wishing to learn more about the heritage of Laval and Quebec, through an immersion in the past. Its program of exhibitions, events and interdisciplinary cultural activities is designed to be accessible and inclusive, promoting the appropriation of the site by the Laval community.
