The Association of Citizens and Friends of Old Sainte-Rose is organizing a family picnic at the Berge des baigneurs, just as they used to do in the early 20th century along the banks of the Mille-Îles River. During this unique event, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of days gone by and discover the history of Sainte-Rose during its heyday as a resort town.

A variety of activities will be available for picnickers:

- Captivating historical tales, blending fiction and reality

- Guided tourof the neighborhood’s history
- Boat tourbetween the Berge des Baigneurs and the Berge du Garrot (to be confirmed)
- Fun RunandTug-of-War
- Art Workshopfor Everyone
- Exhibition of classic carsandphotos of historic homes
There will be live music all day long: an accordionist will provide background music during the meal, the band Emilis will give mini-concerts in the afternoon, and to wrap things up, there will be a lively swing dance hosted by Les Étoiles Filantes.
Since the focus is on outdoor dining, visitors can purchase a delicious snack from the various vendors(see list)or bring their own picnic basket.
Reserve yourpicnic basketby contacting the gourmet shop of your choice. You can pick it up that same morning before heading to the site.
You can have a picnic on the grass or under the tent, whichever you prefer (there are about 150 spots under the tent; first come, first served)
