Laval, December 2, 2024 - This year, the big end-of-year celebration takes place at Place Centrale in Centropolis! On December 31, starting at 10 p.m., the media and members of our community are invited to join us in celebrating the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. For the occasion, the team has a festive and unifying program in store, as well as a spectacular countdown!
A program to dance the night away
The evening of December 31 will be a party to remember! Here's an exclusive unveiling of the full program program
that's sure to get you dancing, singing and moving.
9:30 p.m.: Celebration site opens. Performances by percussionists and luminous strolling characters circulating through the crowd.
22 h: Sound and light experience Instants illuminés
From 10:15 pm: Dance under the stars to the sound of a live musical retrospective of the year. The Groove Affair band will perform 2024's greatest hits to get you dancing!
11:30 pm to 12:30 am: The party continues with a performance by DJ High Klassified! Proudly from Laval, he is regarded as one of Canada's most successful and avant-garde music producers.
00:00: At midnight, the long-awaited countdown to 2025 begins. Special effects will light up the sky, marking the start of the new year in style.
The magic of joint efforts
This New Year's celebration, like the Instants illuminés sound and light experience, is the fruit of a wonderful collaboration with businesses in our community.

The event is presented with the financial participation of Tourisme Laval and the Québec government.
A winter terrace to close the year
For the evening of December 31st, Le Balthazar, the destination of choice for tasting microbrewery beers, will welcome you on a specially designed outdoor terrace. Enjoy a specially-created drinks menu.
"We wanted to mark the occasion and be part of the year-end celebrations by offering to be your last terrace of 2024. We'll be delighted to welcome you for a drink in good company," says Philippe Paquin, vice-president and chief operating officer of the Balthazar.
