Regional Tourism Partnership Agreement - $50,000 to support tourism development in the Laval region

QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 25, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec government is pleased to award $50,000 in financial assistance to the Cavalia Creation Center to support the creation of the Splash Oceanic world, on the occasion of the renewal of the Illumi - Féerie de Lumières program.

Benoit Charette, Minister of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change, Minister responsible for the Fight against Racism, Minister responsible for the Laval region and MNA for Deux-Montagnes, made the announcement today on behalf of Caroline Proulx, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for the Lanaudière and Bas-Saint-Laurent regions.

The funding comes from Component 3 of theEntente de partenariat régional en tourisme (EPRT), in collaboration with Tourisme Laval.

  • The purpose of the EPRT is to coordinate the actions of the Ministry of Tourism, regional tourism associations and other regional partners, to enable the implementation of projects to develop the regional tourism offering.
  • EPRTs aim to allocate tourism industry investments according to regional priorities, and to strengthen the synergy of all partners.
