Festi-Gourmet: A New Festival Celebrates Culinary and Cultural Diversity in Laval

Laval, July 2, 2025 — From August 7 to 10, 2025, Laval will come alive with the flavors and traditions of the world thanks to Festi-Gourmet, a brand-new culinary and cultural event that promises to attract a wide audience and become a summer must-see.

Born out of a desire to showcase the diversity that defines Laval, Festi-Gourmet offers visitors a one-of-a-kind immersive experience: tasting, discovering, and celebrating together the most delicious and authentic offerings of each culture. Originally conceived as an Asian festival, the event has evolved to meet an even greater demand for international culinary discovery.

A Sensory and Festive Journey
For four days, the festival grounds will host more than 50 booths featuring restaurants, caterers, artisans, and vendors who have come to share their specialties: reimagined street food, traditional recipes, inspired desserts, exotic teas, fresh juices, and much more.

In addition to culinary discoveries, the public will be able to enjoy a rich and varied program:

• Music and dance performances featuring local and international artists,
• Cultural performances inspired by the traditions of various countries,
• Interactive workshops for all ages,
• A lively family area with inflatable games, fun and educational activities,
• A craft market where you can discover unique souvenirs and meet passionate artisans.

A unifying and eco-friendly event
Festi-Gourmet also aims to be an eco-friendly festival: reducing excess packaging and disposable tableware, promoting practical and user-friendly options, and collaborating with community organizations to redistribute surplus food, thereby helping to reduce its environmental footprint.
