Laval, June 15, 2021 - A new hotel from Quebec's TIMES chain opens its doors today just a stone's throw from Centropolis at the corner of St-Martin and JeanneMance. The 12-storey, 143-room hotel, which cost $36 million to build, promises a refined experience in keeping with the high standards of the TIMES family. Its upscale layout, quality materials and superior finish will make it the most prestigious hotel in Laval. The Grand Hôtel TIMES Laval is the fifth and most recent hotel in the chain.
"The hotel's prime location near Centropolis, a vibrant district with many restaurants and boutiques, was a determining factor," says Jean Audet, owner of the Grand TIMES Hotel chain. For phase 2 of the project, a second building with at least 166 rooms will be under construction in spring 2022.

The hotel will offer all the amenities you could wish for, including 190 secure indoor parking spaces, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. The 9 meeting rooms on the top floor, totalling 8,000 square feet (capacity up to 400 people), will offer panoramic views of Laval and Mount Royal. A chic 1,000 sq. ft. glass-enclosed VIP lounge on the ground floor can be reserved for special events by business customers.
The 143 rooms, ranging in category from grand comfort to prestige suites, will all feature LED lighting for a hushed ambience, high-quality vinyl flooring or hypoallergenic carpeting, and magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows offering unparalleled luminosity.
The Grand Hôtel TIMES Laval is proud to welcome the Moretti Group's finest restaurant, Pizzeria Sofia, a fine Italian cuisine restaurant with 150 seats and a superb terrace.
