Culture will bring the downtown area of Laval to life during the second edition of the Momo Cultural Station

A vibrant cultural scene

The program will feature a diverse lineup of memorable events, including a series of special events. Among these are the station’s launch event with rapper Calamine and the back-to-school Block Party organized by Aire commune, featuring live performances and DJ sets. The station will also come alive to the rhythm of the MOSAÏQUE festival during three musical and festive evenings dedicated to celebrating cultural diversity through the arts. L’Entre-deux artistique will present performances during lunchtime, while several evenings on the terrace will feature DJ sets as part of the Momo Mix series. Co-Motion will present Co-Motion Thursdays, a varied program featuring rap, comedy, and urban dance, alongside 7Starr. The Momo cultural station is also a new destination for families with the presentation of Momo en famille, which will offer three circus shows that will provide unforgettable moments for the audience.

Multi-purpose facilities

Designed by the event design firm Aire commune, the layout of the Momo cultural hub draws inspiration from the essence and the four elements of nature: water, earth, air, and fire. The site will offer a unique experience with terraces, a play area with self-service games, relaxation and work spaces, as well as several shaded and landscaped areas. Some forty planters containing over 200 perennials, shrubs, and trees will help transform the site into a true green oasis, while also countering heat islands. A bar service will also be available during certain events, and meals can be enjoyed on-site. More than twenty restaurants are located near the station, offering something to suit every taste.

The Momo Cultural Station invites you to experience the Montmorency area and downtown Laval in a whole new way—a destination for all Laval residents where art and culture come together every day.
