Launch of the 2021 Summer Campaign
Say “hello” to everything there’s still to see in Quebec
Quebec City, May 31, 2021 — Did you think you’d seen everything Quebec has to offer? Well, get ready to be surprised! While everyone is dreaming of summer vacations, the tourism industry is launching its 2021 summer campaign, inviting Quebecers to discover the destination’s hidden treasures and say “Bonjour” to everything there’s still to see right here at home! Quebec is a land of abundance! We never tire of exploring our vast territory of over 1.6 million square kilometers, its spectacular and diverse landscapes, its vibrant urban centers, and experiencing the same warm welcome from its residents everywhere we go. Each region stands out for its creative and thriving culture, which inspires new experiences.
The call to think outside the box will be set to the beat of Boule Noire’s hit song “Loin d’ici,” reimagined by L’Hologramme and Les Louanges.
The 2021 summer campaign is the result of a joint effort between the Ministry of Tourism, the Quebec Tourism Industry Alliance, and the network of tourism associations. It will be rolled out across various platforms to inform Quebecers about the unforgettable vacation opportunities available to them. The enhanced inspiration and planning tools on the Bonjour Québec website are the key to getting ready to set out and discover hidden gems that are well worth the detour.
Support the tourism industry and the local economy while saving money
The campaign will also invite travelers to take advantage of significant discounts made possible by incentives launched by the Government of Québec. Explore Québec Packages offer stays that include a variety of amenities across all regions of Québec, at rates reduced by at least 25%. These packages can be customized to suit individual interests and come with flexible refund policies. For their part, Attractions Passports offer discounts of 20 to 40% on admission fees to a wide variety of tourist attractions. Since they are available in limited quantities, travelers can purchase them now and use them later during the 2021 summer season.
Enjoy the summer safely anywhere in Quebec
Quebec’s tourism businesses, already masters of the art of hospitality, have spared no effort to welcome travelers this summer while strictly adhering to public health measures. In solidarity with public health authorities, the tourism industry has implemented exemplary health and safety plans to protect residents, travelers, and its workers and suppliers.
