Laval, May 13, 2025An immersive experience you won’t want to miss.

TheWater Interpretation Center (C.I.EAU)is proud to announce the official launch ofRivière Rivière!The experience raises awareness about thevalue of waterand the importance of the infrastructure that makes it accessible and safe.

Presented in an immersive dome, this projection takes viewers on a contemplative journey following a drop of water as it travels through an urban environment: from the river to the drinking water treatment plant, through its consumption and treatment at the wastewater treatment plant, and back to the river. Through a blend of live-action footage and digital animations,*Rivière Rivière*offers a poetic and educational explorationoftheurban water cycleand the importance ofpreservingthis vital resource.

“At C.I.EAU, we are delighted that *Rivière rivière* reflects both the technical aspects of the urban water cycle and artistic and cultural expression. The projection illustrates the many stages of the complex journey a drop of water undergoes, while the experience invites visitors to use their imagination while remaining an educational activity for the general public. We are grateful for the support of the City of Laval and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, through the Regions and Rural Areas Fund, for making this unique project a reality, which will raise awareness about the better use and protection of water as a resource.”
