The Laval Beer Festival unveils the program for its 8th edition

The 8th edition of Laval Beer Festival will be held from July 12 to 14, 2024 at the Centre de la Nature de Laval.

Laval, April 30, 2024 - On the occasion of the 8th edition of the LAVAL BEER FESTIVALactor and author Alexandre Goyette, a proud spokesperson for the event since its inception, is pleased to invite the public to come and enjoy the beautiful days of summer, from July 12 to 14 at Laval's Centre de la Nature.

Over 35,000 festival-goers are expected to attend this major gathering of microbreweries. More than 85 local exhibitors, including 40 Quebec microbreweries, will be on hand for this 8th edition to satisfy connoisseurs. The Festival des bières de Laval is a tasting and gourmet agrotourism event that showcases Quebec products, including craft beers, ciders, spirits and a panoply of local products from the four corners of Quebec. Visitors come to enjoy live music, discover local products, visit the family zone and discover the best of Quebec microbrewing.

A SENSE OF HUMOR TOO

On Friday at 6:30 p.m., the festival is delighted to welcome the excellent comedian Douaa accompanied by none other thanÉtienne Dano. A former teacher with the heart of a teenager, Douaa Kachache made an incredible leap into the world of comedy in 2015. As for Étienne Dano, he's a well-known comedian, with 6 nominations at the Gala des Olivier. Humorist, author, entrepreneur, radio host and shareholder of the Green Bay Packers, the lucky guy! On stage, he tackles subjects as varied as they are fascinating, whether talking about his child, the environment, cheese or traffic circles. He even talks about baseball, guaranteeing you lots of laughs!

On Saturday at 3:30 pm, it's the turn of Acadian multidisciplinary artist Coco Béliveau to make us laugh. With her charming accent, she mixes humor, rap and reflections, always with the hope of being a vector for social change. If you want to laugh for a better world, you know who to follow!

Next up, Franco-Ontarian comedian, actor and author Alexandre Bisaillon, who has been active in the artistic world since graduating from the École Nationale de l'Humour in 2012.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Laval Beer Festival is a non-profit organization created in 2014 by a group of beer lovers. The instigator of the project, Marilène Barale, is a Laval woman who was keen to create a large-scale event on her territory showcasing Quebec and local brewing products. The Festival's mission is to organize and present a great family and country celebration, accessible to all Laval residents, that showcases the Quebec brewing industry and local products, while contributing to Laval's economic, cultural and tourist vitality.
