The MOSAÏQUE Laval Festival is getting a makeover!

Laval, June 12, 2024 – From August 15 to 18, 2024, the MOSAÏQUE Festival will bring the Chomedey neighborhood to life! With a new venue, satellite events, and indoor performances, the fourth edition of this community-building event promises to be a memorable one.

A westward migration

In keeping with the mission of La Centrale, the organization behind MOSAÏQUE, the festival is taking place in a setting that lends itself to gathering and celebration. In partnership with COMINAR, Centropolis will host four days of completely free festivities, showcasing the diversity of artistic expressions in today’s cultural scene. A few days before the festivities begin, on July 26, 2024, a launch party will take place at Centropolis. For the occasion, MOSAÏQUE invites the public to discover the musically liberated world of French-Japanese singer, flutist, songwriter, composer, and arranger Maïa Barouh.

In addition, the Momo cultural hub, presented by the City of Laval, will host a series of events organized by MOSAÏQUE on Fridays, September 6, 13, and 20, 2024. Located in the Place Bell public square, this welcoming and colorful pop-up space will host three evenings of music and festivities dedicated to celebrating cultural diversity through the arts.

Pop-up Market: Registration is now open!

The pop-up market for the festival’s fourth edition is now inviting Laval-based businesses that share the festival’s values to sign up for free to set up a booth at the market, which will be open to festivalgoers on August 15, 16, and 17, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The MOSAÏQUE Laval Festival would not be able to offer so many free cultural experiences without the support of its exceptional financial partners. La Centrale would like to thank the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Heritage Canada, the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications, the City of Laval, Co-Motion, and FPI Cominar.
