A native of Laval, Louis Provost-Brien perfectly embodies the spirit of the city he has always called home, frequented, and cherished. His deep roots, his attachment to the area, and his in-depth knowledge of its cultural, community, and tourism landscape make him a key strategic player.

Mr. Louis Provost-Brien has extensive experience in implementing municipal programs, gained notably during his time with the City of Laval, where he developed initiatives in the areas of culture, recreation, and community life. This in-depth understanding of municipal operations is a key asset in ensuring coherent planning and sustainable management of the destination.

He has also held management positions at Éco-Nature | Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, a major tourist attraction in Laval, where he enhanced the tourist experience, led community-building projects, and established strategic partnerships. His involvement on the board of directors of Culture Laval, as treasurer, has deepened his understanding of regional cultural dynamics. Finally, his experience as a university lecturer will make him an exceptional communicator and an inspiring mentor for his development team.

With a Ph.D. in history, Louis Provost-Brien is known for his analytical skills, intellectual rigor, and strategic approach to development.
