Musicothèque, a new turnkey service that promotes access to music for all audiences!
Laval, June 14, 2021: La Centrale des artistes, in partnership with Musique sur mesure, is launching its new turnkey service for creating a collection of musical instruments and cultural outreach workshops: Musicothèque. This service is available to libraries, schools, municipalities, or any organization or private company wishing to own a collection of musical instruments and offer its clients exclusive access to music. Musicothèque promotes discovery, experimentation, self-learning, and even the exploration of music with an artist through cultural outreach activities.
The collections offered by Musicothèque have been carefully selected to appeal to a wide range of people: novice and seasoned musicians, retirees, young people, and those who are simply curious will all find something to enjoy. Many of them will fulfill a long-held dream and actively contribute to the cultural vitality of their community through music and social interaction.
Looking Beyond Borders
“After completing a similar project for the Saint-Jérôme library, La Centrale decided that all libraries in Quebec deserved their own music library! What’s more, this new service can easily be adapted for any other organization wishing to make music accessible to its users. To develop the project, we joined forces with the company Musique sur mesure. Angèle and Philippe, the co-founders, have enthusiastically embraced this new project , which we hope will be highly beneficial for users.” -Christine Huard, Executive Director, Centrale des artistes.
“Thanks to the expertise of the two companies behind the project, Musicothèque has developed a very simple turnkey solution: you choose the package that suits you, and we take care of setting up the collection—from purchasing the instruments to promoting them to users, including preparing the instruments and training staff.” – Philippe-Emmanuel David, co-founder of Musique sur mesure.
