A successful event to celebrate the Sheraton Laval's 40th anniversary!

More than 500 guests gathered to rediscover the Sheraton Laval

A fully renovated and expanded convention center.

 

Laval, October 6, 2022 – After more than two years of hard work, on September 27, 2022, approximately 500 people—including event planners, influencers, media representatives, partners, suppliers, and customers—gathered to celebrate the Sheraton Laval’s 40th anniversary and the completion of its renovations. Guests enjoyed an exceptional evening in a festive atmosphere, with DJ Abeille setting the tone as soon as they entered the hotel.

 

Guests were invited to tour the renovated common areas, the Convention Center, and the hotel’s new concepts, such as Le Comptoir Gourmand – La Spesa, the mixology offerings at Bar La Cupola, and the restaurant La Piazza. Several themed rooms were set up to showcase the various modular spaces—perfect venues for celebrations such as weddings, galas, and conferences. Cocktails, appetizers, and buffets were available to delight the guests’ palates, prepared by Chef Éric Robidoux and his team. In addition, food trucks were set up on the outdoor terrace to complement the on-site culinary offerings. Thanks to all these elements and numerous partners—Nadia Saputo Events, Sync Productions, Moxo Media, Joe’s Prop House, Gala Design Location Rentals, Haute Balloon, Zhen Import, and Marriott International—the Sheraton Laval’s 40th anniversary was a memorable and highly successful evening!

As one of Quebec’s largest convention centers, the Sheraton now offers a total of 45,000 square feet of space entirely dedicated to corporate events. The possibilities are endless for event planners when it comes to configuring the spaces. In fact, 22,000 square feet of space can be fully reconfigured as needed, thanks to movable walls and removable glass partitions. This makes it possible to create up to eight multipurpose rooms, all of which can be configured in 70 different ways. As the first Marriott in the Laval region, the Sheraton aims to position itself as a leader in new trends in the hospitality industry.
