A beach in Laval? You bet!

The unique features of the beach

La Berge aux Quatre-Ventsoffers more than a mile and a half of beach ready to welcome swimmers of all ages. From June 20 to August 25, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can take a dip in a designated area supervised by a lifeguard (pro tip: check the schedule and beach conditions before leaving home).

On site, you will find:

• Furniture (lounge chairs, chairs, etc.)
• A picnic area
• Fishing (except in the swimming area, of course)
• Self-guided water activities (paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, etc.)
• A volleyball net
• Game modules
• A bike lane
• A restroom

In addition, you can admire an impressive wooden sculpture carved from a felled ash tree.

Playing at the beach

The beach is the perfect place to have fun and make unforgettable memories.

Here are some ideas for games and activities for the whole family:

• Building sandcastles
• Ball games (bring a beach ball to play volleyball, soccer, etc.) or Frisbee
• Encourage the children to collect rocks that will be fun to paint once they get home
• Watch the fish
• Play "hide and seek" in the sand by hiding a large object
• etc.

Picnicking at the beach

What would a day at the beach be without a delicious picnic? Pretty sad, for sure! So here are a few lunch ideas to delight the whole family!
