Did you know there are 12 diamonds scattered throughout Centropolis? Located on the exterior walls of buildings, these diamonds are cut and painted on recycled mirrors. They are the work of French artist Le Diamantaire. By using the city as both a canvas and a playground, Le Diamantaire brings a new dimension to “street art.” You can discover the thought behind his art in this video.

Are you ready to go diamond hunting? Check out the “Le Diamantaire” map, which shows the approximate locations of the diamonds. A paper map is also available at the Tourisme Laval Office, located at 480 Promenade du Centropolis.

A Garden in the Heart of Laval
Centropolis took a “green” turn in 2009 by launching an innovative and experimental initiative to replace a flower bed with an ornamental vegetable garden at Place Centrale.

The vegetables grown there have unique shapes and colors, whether in the form of leaves, flowers, or fruit. Some examples? Tomatoes, onions, cabbage, celery, Swiss chard, and herbs.

This initiative allows Centropolis to reduce its carbon footprint and do its part in terms of corporate social responsibility. The entire harvest from its vegetable garden is donated to the regional food bank, helping to feed families in need.

You can find some relevant information about this project by watching the video of the Éco-Gourmand Event, an event that celebrates gastronomy, the culinary arts, and sustainable development. This year, the sixth edition of the event will take place on Saturday, September 15.

Two jogging routes
Did you know there are two jogging routes? Measuring 1.1 km and 1.4 km, the routes are marked by red lines on the ground.

: A Trendy Spot Do you have an electric car? Charging stations are available for customers. They are located in three areas of the site: at Place Centrale, in the parking lot between the Cinéplex movie theater and Highway 15, and near the office building at 3055 Saint-Martin West.
