Public skating at Place Bell

In addition to the many shows and Laval Rocket games , Place Bell offers public skating on its community rink at an extremely low rate. You don’t have to be a Laval resident to enjoy a family skating session. The rink is also easily accessible by public transit, either via the metro or the free 360 shuttle that circles downtown Laval. As a bonus, you might even get the chance to say hello to Cosmo, the Laval Rocket’s mascot.

A stay at the Sheraton Laval

Ultimately, vacations should also be a chance to relax a little. Our children are constantly on the go every day. We expect them to be attentive at all times, and we rush them so that our routine never gets disrupted—so why not take a little time to let go? That’s exactly what we did as a family during an impromptu overnight stay at the Sheraton Laval. In the 31 years I’ve lived in Laval, I had never set foot in this building, even though I pass it almost every day.

In short, I have nothing but good things to say about this Laval hotel. If you’re looking to treat yourself to something special during your vacation, a staycation at the Sheraton Laval is definitely the way to go! The hotel offers outstanding service for families. The pool-spa-sauna area is fabulous, the rooms are extremely comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. The biggest plus of this hotel, in my opinion, is the restaurant. We were able to enjoy the à la carte menu as well as the Sunday morning brunch buffet. What a wonderful family moment I want to share with you.

I hope I’ve given you a few ideas to keep you busy (but not too busy) during your vacation. Here’s hoping for some sunshine and mild weather so we can step outside for a few good breaths of fresh air!

Have a great week!
