The Wine and Spirits Festival is back in Laval on May 31 and June1, 2024, at Place Bell, for an unforgettable experience. To ensure you have a fully immersive and enriching experience, we’ve put together a handy guide to the must-see highlights and what to bring with you.
The Wine and Spirits Festival is, in itself, a true journey around the world, featuring wine tastings that will delight your taste buds. From Quebec to France, via Italy and Romania, you’ll make some amazing discoveries. Not to mention all the exceptional spirits you can savor, such as Dirty Devil Vodka, Cherry River, Sublime flavored rum, Varron Spirits, and many others. With such an impressive selection, you’d better not forget your notebook! That’s right—it will be a valuable tool for jotting down your impressions, your favorites, and the pairings that charm you the most.
Standing all day, walking from booth to booth, puts a lot of strain on your feet and back. It goes without saying that choosing a pair of suitable, comfortable shoes (this isn’t the time to break in your new heels) is a must. Also, be sure to wear clothes that give you some freedom of movement and allow you to easily participate in the various workshops offered by the Festival. Among them are:
Psst! By the way, between discoveries, VIP pass holders will have the chance to relax in a specially designed lounge.
Capture the event and your favorite discoveries. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, and above all, it helps you remember the highlights and new discoveries. You can also stop by the photo booth and capture a happy moment from the Wine and Spirits Festival.
To get the most out of the festival, be open to new discoveries and don’t hesitate to joyfully dive into the unknown. Let your palate be your guide. Explore unfamiliar grape varieties, artisanal spirits, and bold pairings! Keep your senses open.
Being flexible and open to last-minute changes is a winning strategy. Whether it’s for an impromptu tasting, participating in a workshop, discovering an exhibitor (71 exhibitors showcasing wines, spirits, various food products, and more, as well as information booths), or simply strolling around as the mood strikes and letting yourself be carried along by the flow of the festival, the experience can be as surprising as it is enriching.
Be prepared for any eventuality, since you never know how things might turn out. Plan to get home by public transit, carpool, taxi, or Uber. Otherwise, take advantage of being in downtown Laval to stay at a hotel.
