All summer long, Laval becomes a huge open-air stage.
The Music Zones fill several neighborhoods across the city with music, inviting visitors to discover artists in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The performances take place where you’d expect them… and sometimes where you wouldn’t.
In the city center, the Momo Cultural Station transforms Place Bell into a gathering spot where concerts, dance, circus acts, DJ sets, theater, and artistic performances take place throughout the summer. Between shows, you can relax in a hammock, enjoy the green spaces, or simply spend time with friends. More than 40 free activities are offered there.
Add to that the festivals, exhibitions, public art, and numerous summer events, and you have a destination where culture awaits you at every turn.
A few kilometers further on, the scenery changes completely.
The scenes give way to fields, and paintbrushes to harvest baskets, but the experience remains just as authentic.
At the Marineau Farm, summer means pick-your-own, fresh produce, artisanal ice cream, farm animals, and walks through the fields. For over a century, this family-run business has been sharing Laval’s agricultural expertise in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Forget Farm is another wonderful opportunity to sample local specialties and meet the people who farm the land with passion. Depending on the season, you can explore the harvests, farm products, and the simple pleasure of a visit to the countryside… without leaving Laval.
