The summer season officially begins when the Ferme Marineau opens the doors to its magnificent kiosk on Dagenais Boulevard West. This family-owned business, now in its centennial year, continues to reinvent itself to the delight of its loyal customers.
This wonderful success story began with an ambitious vision, fueled by the hard work of generation after generation, and sustained by the invaluable support of the community.
Today, a few decades later, Ferme Marineau attracts foodies, families, and lovers of local products from both Laval and neighboring towns. Everyone wants to get their hands on one of the famous homemade pies—and for good reason!
The past few years have certainly put the Marineau Farm on the world map—and that’s no exaggeration! The artisanal ice cream shop draws crowds from all over. Young and old alike come to enjoy artisanal soft-serve vanilla ice cream, a strawberry slushie made with strawberries picked right on the farm, or even a sundae for those with a sweet tooth. Open since 2021, this new spot for sweet treats is a hit with everyone: just head over there on a beautiful summer evening!
There’s no shortage of ideas among the different generations of the Marineau family, each as passionate as the next about the company’s growth. The selection is so diverse that you could easily spend the whole day there!
From play areas designed for toddlers to seasonal berry picking—not to mention the huge corn maze and the pumpkin kingdom toward the end of the season—there’s something to delight the whole family!
Your summer vacation will never be the same again! With its packed summer schedule, Ferme Marineau will make you want to stay in the area to enjoy it to the fullest. On the agenda: picnics under the big top, outdoor concerts, picking flowers and creating beautiful bouquets, tasting dishes prepared on-site, and much more!
Marineau Farm stands out for its ingenuity and its ability to salvage and transform every product harvested from its fields. In collaboration with Domaine Brune Houblonde, it has developed a 100% locally sourced house beer made with raspberries and strawberries, available exclusively at the farm stand on Dagenais Boulevard. No produce harvested on-site goes to waste: it is transformed into marinades, homemade jams, pies, desserts, and other dishes lovingly prepared by the team at Marineau Farm.
Set aside a few hours to enjoy everything Ferme Marineau has to offer, with family or friends, and experience a one-of-a-kind outdoor adventure in the region. The activities change with the seasons: from picking your own strawberries and flowers to the huge cornfield transformed into a maze for everyone to enjoy, not to mention harvesting our favorite squash, just in time for Halloween. More recently, the addition of a Christmas market and the sale of natural Christmas trees have further enriched Ferme Marineau’s already packed calendar.
Any reason is a good reason to visit one of Ferme Marineau’s two stands, whether it’s for a healthy break in nature or to stock up on locally sourced products prepared on-site.
