When the first lights come on and Christmas carols start playing again, the excitement slowly builds. The kids count down the nights until they see Santa, while parents dig out the boxes of decorations and start planning their first festive outings. In Laval, the holidays are in full swingcelebrated with family at various iconic locations throughout the destination that welcome Santa Claus and extend the magic of the holiday season, creating new memories, photo after photo.
Starting on November 30, Santa Claus settles into his kingdom at DUO Centre Laval. The central courtyard is transformed into a winter wonderland, where elves welcome families and children bursting with energy, excited to share their wishes.
All you have to do is book your meeting with a simple online registration, a confirmation email, and a text message reminder the day before the big day. When the time comes, arrive ten minutes early, check in at the reception desk, and let the magic begin.
A professional photographer captures every smile, and the photos are printed on the spot. Before leaving, each child receives a small gift—a precious memento of a tradition that is renewed year after year.
The CF Carrefour Laval is also becoming a top stop on Santa’s route! His sleigh will be parked there from November 14 to December 25 in the Hudson’s Bay courtyard, and it’s never been easier to come visit him.
Whether it’s the first photo of a toddler or a heartwarming snapshot of siblings, every session promises a unique memory. The package includes three digital photos available for immediate download , perfect for greeting cards or sharing with family.
Between shopping trips, the Christmas spirit takes hold naturally. The big red armchair, the sparkling decorations, and the children’s wide-eyed wonder remind us why this time of year is so eagerly anticipated every year.
To round out the outing, we're headingto the Marineau Farm and its Christmas Market. From November 15 to December 21, 2025, the farm transforms into a true festive village.
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the market features products from local artisans: jams, honey, fine cheeses, maple products, spirits, soaps, and seasonal decorations. Everything you need to fill your gift baskets, Christmas stockings, and holiday dinner tables.
When it comes to treats, the Crèmerie Marineau offers its Christmas logs, while the kitchen is simmering tourtières, pâtés, and stews to go. It’s the perfect solution for a hassle-free meal and a great go-to option for holiday meals.
While you're there, you can also warm up by a big campfire, enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, and admire the big, lit-up Christmas tree. Weather permitting, the kids can enjoy the farm-themed playground, while Santa Claus makes several surprise appearancesunder the twinkling garlands.
Between a cup of hot chocolate, a child’s laughter, and Santa’s white beard, the magic of the holidays comes to life in Laval. Whether in a brightly lit shopping center or at a farmers’ Christmas market, every encounter becomes a story worth telling.
The settings may change, but the feeling remains the same: the joy of seeing a child’s eyes light up. And that is truly the best Christmas gift. The holidays are fast approaching, and Laval is coming alive to welcome young and old alike in a unique atmosphere.
