Have you had a chance to visit Place Bell? It’s a world-class multi-purpose complex. The people of Laval have every reason to be proud that their city finally has a facility like this. I certainly am! And I’ve really fallen in love with Place Bell!
Under one roof, you can…
Place Bell features a 10,000-seat amphitheater with a flexible seating layout, making it the perfect venue for major shows and events. If you’re curious, check out the upcoming events.
As we all know, Place Bell is home to the Laval Rocket, the Montreal Canadiens’ farm team. I went to a game with my dad and had a great time. I was impressed to see these future NHL stars out on the ice. And what can I say about the atmosphere? It was fantastic.
Even though I’m not a huge hockey fan (to be honest, I like it, but I’m not the type to watch every game on TV), I can’t wait to go back.
Check out the team’s schedule and note that there are various package options available, including ones for families and students. It’s worth taking a look.
It’s also a great place to go skating, especially when it’s freezing outside. There are designated time slots for skating and open-ice hockey.
What I love about this place for public skating (as for hockey, I’ll let you know once I’ve played a game!) is that the rink is Olympic-sized. You can’t skate around it in just a few strokes. I also appreciate the boards with protective padding, the lighting, and watching the “little ones” learn to skate with training aids.
I also believe that this is an exceptional venue for training and competitions for fans of ice sports, such as short-track speed skating, figure skating, ringette, and hockey.
In short, Place Bell is a one-of-a-kind gathering spot. It’s a place where people of all ages can meet professional athletes and Olympians who will inspire them, artists who will spark their imagination… and parents and friends who will help them have a blast.
I’m planning to visit again soon. How about you—when do you plan to stop by?
Place Bell is located just a short walk from the Montmorency metro station and is easily accessible from Highway 15. It features indoor parking and a free shuttle service from City Hall.
You can find all the ways to get there with just one click!
