Summer's coming to an end, but Laval's sunny days and summer excitement haven't said their last word! Extend your summer fun at the Momo cultural station which offers a rich and varied program. Located in the heart of the Montmorency district, this urban oasis is ready to welcome you until September 29. But hurry, it won't last forever!
The Momo cultural station isn't just a meeting place; it's a veritable outdoor work of art. Yes, because the layout is inspired by the four elements (water, earth, air and fire) to create a unique, immersive experience. And it works! Imagine strolling along shaded terraces, self-service games for children and relaxation areas with hammocks, all surrounded by over 200 perennials and potted trees. Not only does this lush vegetation beautify the space, it also helps counteract heat islands and provides a cool haven in the heart of the city. Already here, it's the perfect place to recharge your batteries, stroll, work and even settle down to read a good book.
More than just a green space, the Momo cultural station is a place where art and culture come together to offer an eclectic and dynamic program. Whether your interests lie in music, dance, theater or the visual arts, you'll find plenty to feed your tourist soul. From open-air concerts and street performances to creative workshops and exhibitions, every day brings its own share of discoveries and surprises. In September, don't miss Sarahmée, Peggy Sue and guests, Prazar and a host of other artists from the music and comedy scenes.
One of the most charming aspects of the Momo cultural resort is undeniably its friendly atmosphere. It's the ideal place to get together with friends, family or, why not, to meet new people. It's the ideal place to soak up the sun, have a drink or enjoy a meal in one of the many food courts. The inviting terraces and picnic areas invite you to relax and share, ideal for creating unforgettable moments of togetherness.
Located a stone's throw from the Montmorency metro station, the Momo cultural station is easily accessible by public transit. STL bus lines 2, 26, 33 and 39 serve the area, making it easy to get around! Otherwise... you can always get there by car.
