No one needs a reason to go see the Rocket play. The team alone is enough to make us want to attend a game! Still, the new season is shaping up to be quite exciting, and since it’s always good to remind ourselves why we love something so much, here are a few reasons to buy your season tickets. Right now!
The Rocket welcomes goaltender Luke Cavallin. The 23-year-old right-hander, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 196 pounds, posted a 3-4-2 record with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL last season. He posted a 3.01 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage during that same period. He looks promising!
The season kicks off on October 11 with a live game in Providence against the Bruins. The home opener, presented by Bell, will take place on October 18 against the Syracuse Crunch. It will undoubtedly be a memorable evening, featuring the Concert Series presented by Coca-Cola. In fact, to buy your tickets, click here.
The Rocket loves to pull off hat tricks, which is probably why it offers its fans special activities that combine the excitement of the games with the players’ talent. Here are a few dates you won’t want to miss:
Going to see the Rocket is about much more than just supporting a local hockey team or showing your team spirit. It’s about contributing to the region’s socio-economic life. As proof, last season, the Rocket gave back $150,000 to the Laval community. More than 800 students benefited from the “Plaisir de lire avec le Rocket” activities, an initiative aimed at encouraging reading among elementary and high school students. In addition, the team organized two visits to hospitals and a rehabilitation center, as well as a food drive led by the players and their spouses. Not to mention the blood drive held at Place Bell , which was a huge success with over 500 donors.
So when you attend Rocket games, you’re also contributing to important causes and supporting local initiatives that make a real difference. It’s also a chance for our community to come together. Go! Be part of it.
While you’re at Place Bell to watch a Rocket game, take the opportunity to treat yourself to a meal at one of the many restaurants in the area. Whether you’re in the mood for a gourmet meal, comfort food, or a quick bite, the area offers a variety of options to satisfy every culinary craving. Take advantage of the lively atmosphere to get in the mood before the game or to end the evening on a festive note.
To get to Place Bell in no time, take the metro! Otherwise, here’s what you need to know to find parking easily.
