Since December 21, the Laval Aquatic Center has finally opened, much to the delight of swimmers of all ages. Whether you’re a Laval resident or a visitor from anywhere, this is your chance to enjoy swimming, water polo, diving, and more while taking advantage of modern, top-of-the-line facilities that are easily accessible (even for people with limited mobility). Have you even taken a look at the slides and diving boards? They’re… wow!

Goodbye, swimming pool; hello to water in its solid form! Swap your swimsuit for your ice skates and head to the Enclav de la Place Bell, right in the heart of Laval. Join about a hundred other skaters who share your passion for the sport and enjoy an unbeatable open-skating session. It’s also a great place to introduce younger kids to skating in a friendly atmosphere. As a bonus, Laval residents can skate for free with proof of residence. For everyone else, the prices are very affordable.

In winter, weather permitting, the pond at the Nature Center freezes over and becomes the scene of hundreds of skaters gliding across the ice while enjoying the beauty of the snow-covered landscape. There’s nothing quite like it for reconnecting with your true nature and savoring winter in all its splendor. And afterward, to warm up your toes, stop by the tropical greenhouse, where the humidity (which, by the way, is also a form of water) will give you a little taste of summer before its time.
