There are a thousand ways to enjoy summer in Laval. Some involve sitting on a patio, others include an outdoor show or a spontaneous stroll. At the Momo Cultural Center, you can find it all in one place.
Located in the public square at Place Bell, just a short walk from the Montmorency metro station, Momo is back for a new season with free programming and a space designed for relaxing. People stop by for a show, a break in the sun, or happy hour… and, more often than not, end up spending the whole evening there.
Momo isn't an outdoor performance venue. It's a living space where people gather to eat, chat, work for a few hours, play with the kids, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
Relaxation areas, hammocks, picnic tables, lush greenery, and a welcoming terrace make you want to settle in, whether it’s between activities or for an entire evening.
At Momo, there’s no single way to experience culture.
Throughout the season, concerts are interspersed with circus acts, comedy shows, DJ sets, artistic performances, family activities, and interactive events. The lineup changes from week to week, so every visit is different from the last.
Whether you're here to see a specific show or just to soak up the atmosphere, there's always something that catches your eye or keeps you there a few minutes longer.
Momo is also a great starting point for exploring the Montmorency area.
Start with a coffee, follow it up with an activity or a show, and then take some time to explore the nearby restaurants and shops. Thanks to its proximity to the metro and several bus lines, it’s easy to include Momo in a day trip or a spontaneous outing after work.
Whether you’re visiting Laval or looking for a new idea for an outing, the Momo Cultural Center is a great way to enjoy the season. People come here for the atmosphere, the programming, or simply to have a good time outdoors.
This summer, take a detour through downtown. Chances are, Momo will become one of your favorite spots.
