Laval Wood
Laval has 6 major woods: Sainte-Dorothée, La Source, L'Orée des bois, Armand-Frappier, l'Équerre and Papineau. The trails are well-marked for walking. At Bois de l'Équerre, a 1.3 km section is specially adapted for people with reduced mobility. The woodlands are home to an abundance of flora and diverse fauna. The Bois Papineau and Bois de L'Équerre offer entertainment and parking.
You can also bring your snowshoes to Bois de l'Équerre and Bois Sainte-Dorothée, and even bring your pet.
Events are also organized in Bois Sainte-Dorothée, Bois de l'Équerre and Bois de La Source.

Rivière-des-Mille-Îles Park
A unique attraction, this protected wildlife area is the largest in the metropolitan region. Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles once again offers visitors the chance to discover the river and observe animals in their natural habitat as they explore the islands of the archipelago. Visitors can hike the park's many trails and enjoy the great outdoors.

Parc Bernard-Landry
Parc Bernard-Landry is a magnificent 30-hectare natural site. It's a sought-after place for walking and physical activity. The intimacy of the site, with its lake, stream and waterfalls, will provide you with instant relaxation. This Ville de Laval park is open year-round.
Activities: Walking trails, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, skating rink, trekfit and disc golf.
Disc golf is the sport of throwing a Frisbee into baskets with as few throws as possible. The course, which is accessible to all, comprises 9 baskets, is permanent for 4 seasons and stretches over 2,000 yards through high-elevation natural obstacles.

Nature Center
More than fifty hectares of outdoor space await you at the Centre de la Nature, one of the region's largest urban parks. Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy more than five kilometers of trails in a lush natural setting.
