A festival for toddlers in Laval

From 1 to 11 May, Laval will be the setting for a festival like no other where and their families to a unique cultural celebration. For a 15e year, the Petits bonheurs festival will offer a varied program that will delight children aged 0 to 6 through the prism of theater, music, dance, puppetry, visual arts and much more.

The joy of attending a show

The festival features 11 captivating shows and some 15 creative workshops ranging from painting to dance to music. Local artists are delighted to share their talent, know-how and passion with young audiences, in visually arresting, interactive formats. Among the must-sees, don't miss 45, de la Taupinière (May 2, 3, 9 and 10), Cuckoo Clock (May 4 to 7), and Petit concert à l'aube (May 8 to 10), not forgetting the immersive installation that will crown this anniversary edition.

The festivities continue outdoors with Payzages (May 10 and 11), a unique opportunity for families to enjoy the arts outside the confines of concert halls.

Happiness is everywhere in Laval

The festival is not limited to stages and concert halls. It comes to life all over the city, thanks to the participation of a number of Laval's cultural institutions. Laval libraries, the Cosmodome and the Musée de la santé Armand-Frappier propose free activities that extend the festival experience by adding a touch of science and interactive discovery.

Celebrating Laval's 60th anniversary

The closing festivities on May 10 and 11 will celebrate not only the 15th anniversary of the festival, but also 60 years of Laval. This double anniversary will be marked by a grandiose program of free activities and shows. The Maison des arts will be transformed into a cultural playground for the whole family, where young and old can enjoy, discover and celebrate together.

And, of course, imaginary friends and stuffed animals are invited to join in this celebration of imagination and creativity!
