Any excuse is a good excuse to celebrate and have fun! But let's face it, there's something special about Halloween, a little bit of fun that we like to exploit. This year, to celebrate this uncompromising holiday, we invite you to take a trip to the Nature Center. Every weekend, from October 7 to 29, the days are filled with festivities. A haunted house, labyrinth, horticultural activities and a host of surprises await visitors. You're invited to come in disguise.
For the kids, don't miss the iSaute horror night on October 27, the through the haunted forest at Bois de l'Équerre l2 October and the Halloween activities at the Centre d'interprétation de l'eau (C.I.EAU) on October 28 and 29.
To liven up your Halloween party, include some spine-chilling games in your program! Several options are available to you, such as reserving a table at a game bistro like the Randolph pub Centropolis to take part in a themed evening on site, or rent or buy games to play at home.
Of course, you can't have a Halloween party without sweets!
Take a stroll to Centropolis to prepare for the evening. Stop by the specialist boutique KandJu to stock up on sweets. A vast selection in bulk to suit all tastes.
Looking for a bar where you can dress up and celebrate Halloween with your friends? The brewery Les Insulaires Microbrasseurs is organizing a mega Halloween party. Come dressed in your best costume for a chance to win the best costume prize. On-site DJ, special Halloween cocktail and much more. An event not to be missed!
On October 28, C'est au Balthazar is the place to be! You don't want to miss out on a disco party, what more could you ask for?
It's time to bring out your singing talents, but also your best disguise, as there will be a special prize for the best costume.
Halloween and candy are a bit like Tom and Jerry or Batman and Robin. They go hand in hand. Good news, at least as far as little monsters and candy are concerned. It's okay to use Halloween as an excuse to teach kids about the importance of eating right. And not just to prevent tooth decay! An original way of doing this could be to invite the whole family to visit Eat! L'exposition qui nourrit (available until September 2024) or the permanent exhibition 4,3,2,1... Santé! at Musée de la santé Armand-Frappier.
Dracula is surely the most famous vampire of all. With his white skin, big black cape and thirst for blood, the Prince of Darkness has everything it takes to capture the imagination. Did you know that Count Dracula has a namesake among orchids? Yes, the Dracula orchid turns many heads and raises many questions! Why such a name for such a pretty flowering plant? What does it look like? If you'd like to find out more, come to the Paradis des Orchidées in Laval. You'll be able to see its face, judge for yourself whether or not it deserves its name, and sketch it from life.
