Any excuse is a good excuse to party and have fun! But let’s face it, Halloween has something special about it—a bit of a wild side that we love to embrace. This year, to celebrate this holiday to the fullest, we invite you to check out the Nature Centre. Every weekend from October 7 to 29, the days are filled with festivities. A haunted house, a maze, gardening activities, and a host of surprises await visitors. The invitation is out—you can even show up in costume.
For kids, don't miss the iSaute Club’s Horror Night on October 27, the walk through the haunted forest at Bois de l’Équerre on October 28, and the Halloween activities at the Water Interpretation Center (C.I.EAU) on October 28 and 29.
To spice up your Halloween party, be sure to include some spine-chilling games on the agenda! There are plenty of options to choose from, such as reserving a table at a game bar like the Randolph Pub Ludique Centropolis to take part in a themed evening there, or rent or buy games to host the party at home.
Of course, no Halloween party is complete without candy!
A short walk is a must in Centropolis to get ready for the evening. Stop by the specialty shop KandJu to stock up on candy. A wide selection of bulk candy is available to suit every taste.
Are you looking for a bar where you can dress up and celebrate Halloween with your friends? The Les Insulaires Microbrasseurs is hosting a mega Halloween party. Come dressed in your best costume for a chance to win the prize for best costume. There will be a DJ, special Halloween cocktails, and much more. An event not to be missed!
On October 28, it will be at Balthazar where it’s happening! You don’t want to miss this—a disco party, what more could you ask for?
It’s time to show off your singing skills—and your best costume—because there will be a special prize for the best costume.
Halloween and candy are a bit like Tom and Jerry or Batman and Robin. They go hand in hand. Good news, at least when it comes to little monsters and treats. You can use Halloween as an excuse to teach kids about the importance of eating well. And not just to avoid cavities! One creative way to do this could be to invite the whole family to visit Eat! The Exhibition That Feeds (on view through September 2024) or the permanent exhibition 4,3,2,1… Cheers! at the Armand-Frappier Health Museum.
Dracula is undoubtedly the most famous vampire of all time. With his pale skin, long black cape, and thirst for blood… the Prince of Darkness has everything it takes to capture the imagination. Did you know that Count Dracula has a namesake among orchids? That’s right—the Dracula orchid turns heads and sparks plenty of questions! Why such a name for such a beautiful flowering plant? What does it actually look like? To learn a little more about it, visit the Orchid Paradise in Laval. You can see what it looks like, judge for yourself whether or not it deserves its name, and sketch it on the spot.
