Follow our lead and plan your next family summer getaway in Laval. We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Laval and our two kids loved it just as much as we did!

Kids stay and eat for free!

It’s not an all-inclusive deal, but it’s almost like one since kids stay for free (under certain conditions). If you’re like me, this is the kind of deal you love when planning your family vacation.

The family rooms with two large (very comfortable) beds are perfect for a short stay in Laval. Every room has a refrigerator, so you can bring drinks and snacks for the kids. Each room also features Dove bath products for bath time, as well as a coffee maker—a real treat for parents in the morning! Do you have several children? Feel free to request two connecting rooms so you can fully enjoy your family getaway in Laval!

And the best part is that children eat for free, both at the restaurant at the Le Zircon hotel and Chez Lionel, the restaurant located just a few steps from the hotel. At the hotel, the kids’ lunch menu features buttermilk pancakes, eggs and bacon, and a delicious yogurt with fruit and cereal. Everything to fill your little ones’ bellies! Chez Lionel is open for dinner and also offers a delicious brunch every weekend

What kid doesn’t love the idea of a quick dip in the middle of the day or before bedtime? Take a moment to enjoy the hotel’s beautiful indoor pool. Bring your kids’ floaties and make use of the pool toys provided by the hotel. There are lounge chairs so parents can relax while keeping an eye on the kids. The pool is located in a room with large windows that let in plenty of sunlight. But don’t worry—the forest behind the hotel not only offers a beautiful view but also blocks out the noise from the traffic outside.

A variety of family-friendly activities, just a few minutes’ drive—or walk—away

The location of the Holiday Inn Laval is ideal and allows us to enjoy a variety of activities during our stay without having to spend hours (and hours) on the road. Located across from the CF Carrefour Laval and the bus terminal, the hotel makes it very easy for everyone to get around. The hotel is also just a few minutes from Centropolis , home to several of the most fun and interesting attractions, including the Cosmodome, the Armand-Frappier Health Museum, and the indoor climbing center Clip ’n Climb, the Putting Edge, and much more!

In fact, since the hotel was close to all these attractions, we left the car parked at the hotel and walked to the CF Carrefour Laval to do some quick shopping (and pick up a board game). If we’d had time, we could even have walked to Clip ‘n Climb, our favorite activity on the second day of our stay.
