Tourisme Laval is a non-profit organization and regional tourism association, whose mission is to exercise leadership in terms of welcoming tourists and promoting Laval’s attractions. Moreover, Tourism Laval contributes to Laval’s development as a tourist destination and acts as a unifier among its members and partners, with a view toward sustainable development.
As the preferred regional partner of the ministère du Tourisme (MTO), Tourisme Laval provides coordination and expertise to the actors on its territory in order to support the convergence of regional and interregional tourism actions.
Tourisme Laval’s purpose is to guide and foster the development of the regional tourism industry and actively contribute to its economic prosperity. The organization adopts a coordinated and integrated approach to promotion, marketing, development, and the welcoming of tourists.
Tourisme Laval collaborates with over 200 members from various sectors related to the tourism industry, and its portfolio of services addresses the needs of all of its members. The organization constantly strives to be fair toward its members when representing their companies before clients.
Tourisme Laval’s mandate is to help create new tourist experiences through standout initiatives in a variety of niches, which include business tourism and conventions, family tourism, cultural tourism, and sports tourism. To achieve this, the organization designs and distributes tourism information tools on Laval as a destination; supports the development of new tourism products; encourages partnerships, coordination and a spirit of collaboration among Laval’s tourism actors; and fosters the development of a creative and innovative tourism community.
