28e édition québécoise de la Tournée mondiale du Festival du film de montagne de Banff

The 28th Quebec edition of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is back! The Festival presents short and medium-length films made by daredevil adventurers in the heart of wild territories. Inspiring adventures, interwoven with human prowess and stories that often go beyond the protagonists' sporting exploits alone. Fans of the tour will devour spectacular films in which (by way of example) cycling, skiing, climbing, mountaineering, kayaking and other disciplines are at the heart of extraordinary achievements (final programming available in November 2023).

With 23 cities visited, the Quebec tour is one of the largest on the World Tour, which brings together adventure enthusiasts in over 40 countries. The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival is the most prestigious film event of its kind in the world. For 48 years in Banff, in late October and early November, it has presented festival-goers from the four corners of the globe with some 100 films selected from over 400 short and medium-length films in competition.

Practical info:

• An evening lasting a total of 3 hours, including intermission and raffle.
• The program is the same for each performance
• The films are presented in their original version with French subtitles to preserve their authenticity.
• Numerous door prizes drawn after the break
• The Tour is accompanied by a photographic exhibition whose theme varies from year to year.
