Exposition permanente 4, 3, 2, 1… Santé!

Musée de la santé Armand-Frappier

Description

The interactive exhibition 4, 3, 2, 1... Health! invites visitors to discover four scales of human health: molecules and cells, individuals, populations and the planet. Health issues can be observed and experienced at these scales, all of which are linked together to ensure sustainable health. Throughout their visit, participants become aware that health is much more than the absence of disease. They are prompted to reflect on a wide range of issues, in particular:

  • Which infinitely small players are the most frequent allies of health?
  • What are the human body's defence tools?
  • Are we all equal when it comes to health?
  • What can we do for the planet's health, and therefore our own and that of other species?

Laboratory workshop Grab your microscopes!

Complementing the exhibition visit, a laboratory microscopy workshop is planned to explain health issues at the cellular level. With the help of a scientific facilitator, participants learn how to use a microscope, an indispensable tool for scientists observing the infinitely small.

small. They observe a variety of microorganisms, invisible to the naked eye, and realize that these small, often unloved creatures are essential to life on Earth and to our health!
