In the prosperous years of Saint-Élie-de-Caxton, Toussaint Brodeur ran his general store and made a profit from everything. Through wear and tear, hard work and astonishing calculations, he amassed a handsome fortune on which he built his pride. So, when the day came for him to face Eternity, he realized that he hadn't put any time into his safe. Toussaint was rich, but he couldn't afford to buy back even a single second of his life. It was too late.
