LES BULLES is a multimedia installation containing traces of living art. Three lives. Three bubbles. Three periods of life.
The three universes of this multimedia installation, composed of matter, sound and choreographic projections, open the door to a dialogue, an intergenerational exchange in which each stage of life is whispered. Between the teenager, the angry mother and the old lady, there is a shared sigh, a collective breath.

"AILES D'OISEAUX" offers a privileged contact with the multimedia work "LES BULLES" and a rare opportunity for the public to respond to art through art. Guided by a professional choreographer, groups of seniors and young dancers will become spectators/actors, creating together a living choreographed fresco as their sensitive response to this inanimate work.

In Alfred's Atelier at Salle Alfred-Pellan, experiment with abstraction, inspired by the innovative works in the exhibition Libérez la peinture! by artist Marcel Saint-Pierre.
As a family, we'll explore various processes specific to Marcel Saint-Pierre's painting of the 1970-80 period, without using common tools (such as the brush). We're interested in creating under the theme of chance: we free ourselves and our painting!
The workshop runs continuously from 1pm to 5pm. It's aimed at children aged 5 to 12, accompanied by a parent.

Experience the unlikely encounter of an ice-cutter and a miller on this theatrical tour of the old Saint-François-de-Sales district.
Accompanied by a dynamic animator-guide, you'll be immersed in the history of the very first parish on Île Jésus, founded over 300 years ago. Meet up with the guide at three stopping points that offer a glimpse into the history of this agricultural area, and you may even come across some of the witnesses to the past still roaming the area! It's a fun, lively and original way to discover Laval and its historical heritage while you're out and about!

Guided tour of the exhibition A History of Water Quality. Did you know that people used to come to Sainte-Rose for a swim? Find out why the water is unsuitable for bathing today, and explore the technologies of the future with C.I.EAU's new multimedia temporary exhibition, A History of Water Quality.

Complete your journey back in time with a laboratory workshop. A colorful experience and a mysterious ancient map await you! An ideal activity for the whole family.

Learn how to draw lunar craters! Do you really want to know the moon? You can follow its trajectory in the sky, you can contemplate it through a telescope, you can explore a lunar atlas, but the best way to really understand the lunar surface is to draw it. And with a little practice, it's easy! Join artist and amateur astronomer Bettina Forget for a lunar crater drawing workshop. Bettina will talk about her art project Women of Impact, a series of lunar crater drawings named after women, then share some practical tips for drawing moon features.
Art materials provided, and no artistic talent required! To facilitate your participation, you can bring your own tools: drawing paper, graphite pencils (HB, 2H, 4H, 2B, 4B), eraser and sharpener.

The Musée de la santé Armand-Frappier is taking advantage of the Journées de la culture to invite you to discover its free exhibition 4, 3, 2, 1... Santé!

As you explore the exhibition, discover the four scales of human health: molecules and cells, individuals, populations and the planet. Enjoy, discover and learn from this interactive tour. Complementing your visit to the exhibition, you'll also have the chance to take part in a laboratory activity. Accompanied by a scientific animator, you'll manipulate a microscope to observe a variety of organisms invisible to the naked eye: micro-organisms. You'll realize that these often unloved little creatures are essential to life on Earth and to our health.

Art is the deepest expression of human creativity. Art is wonder and it makes people dream. It transports them to another world and makes us forget all our worries. Visitors will have the chance to come into direct contact with the artists and watch them perform. It's also an opportunity to talk to them about their artistic approaches, or to buy one of their works. Our artists and creators look forward to meeting and talking with you. Serenity, gentleness, balance and refinement come together in their work.
