La Grande Fête des pompiers de Laval

Description
The Grande Fête des pompiers and Course des pompiers de Laval is an outdoor, festive and educational event. This year's 16th edition will take place on June 1 and 2, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a brand-new venue: the outdoor site of Collège Montmorency.
On Sunday, June 2, the Firefighters' Run will benefit the Fondation des pompiers du Québec pour les grands brûlés. Never participated? Check out our blog to find out just how magical it can be. Get your running shoes on!
Programming
Educational activities for all and a unique opportunity to meet Laval's firefighters
To help you better understand fire safety issues, nearly 200 firefighters and fire prevention inspectors will be on hand to immerse you in their world of fun and enjoyment.
On the program:
- An impressive parade and a display of some 30 antique fire trucks.
- Several prevention information booths.
- Sensational demonstrations of firefighters in action: burning vehicle and extrication, roof rescue, interventions, house door opening and cooking fire.

- Circus :
- On-site activities include walkabouts and performances, inflatable games for the little ones and face-painting stations.
- A festive atmosphere for young and old.
