La soirée tordante

[co]motion presents LA SOIRÉE TORDANTE: come and discover 4 comedians in a classic stand-up format, in the intimate Théâtre des Muses at the Maison des arts de Laval.

Excellent comedian Sinem Kara will be hosting. The program also features the hilarious Mélanie Couture, the surprising Jessica Chartrand and the refreshing humor of Justine Philie.

Who knows? It could be the start of a hilarious tradition!

Sinem Kara:

A comedian and actress, Sinem grew up with her Turkish family in a Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu pizzeria, thinking she was a Middle Eastern princess... can you imagine the mix? A graduate of the Option-Théâtre program at Collège Lionel-Groulx, she's outspoken and assumes her shortcomings (especially those of her family, for which we salute them). She's a real ball of energy!

Mélanie Couture:

A humorist, author and novelist, Mélanie Couture is a pro at unabashed stand-up. With her background in sexology, she tackles any subject with an iron fist in a velvet glove.

Jessica Chartrand:

Jessica loves to tackle tough topics and make them accessible and refreshing! Excellent on stage, Jessica defines herself as a fastidious and thoughtful comedian. Extremely punchy, she likes to take audiences by surprise, deconstructing her own personality and talking about her own foibles, which you'll be amazed to recognize yourself in!

Justine Philie

Justine works primarily as a writer for other comedians (Christine Morency, Korine Côté, Katherine Levac), but when she takes to the stage it's to "say what she wants".
