Description

Eating is a daily gesture, essential to human survival. Produced with Bernard Lavallée, nutritionist and author, Manger ! L'exposition qui nourrit explores the link between well-being and food.

Feeding the body!

Breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack, food is at the heart of our daily lives. Why do we need to eat? What happens in our bodies when we eat? Do all foods have their place in our diet? As they explore, visitors discover how the food we eat provides the body with all the essential elements it needs to function.

The pleasure of eating

In addition to nourishing our bodies, eating is also a pleasure. Smell, touch, taste... as you explore the exhibition, your senses will be stimulated. In many countries, cuisine is at the heart of tradition. Explore the history and richness of several traditional dishes from different communities.

Towards sustainable food?

If food is to be a source of well-being for all human beings, it must be produced in good quality, in sufficient quantity, accessible to all and respecting the limits of natural resources. Collectively, you will have the opportunity to test the solutions that exist to achieve this by taking part in a great game. Your mission? Restore balance to the planet!

Play, learn and celebrate the joy of eating on this appetizing tour!

LABORATORY

The scientific approach

During this laboratory activity, participants learn the steps of the scientific process in the company of a scientific animator. Like Dr. Frappier, they take on the role of researchers. Just like them, they manipulate real scientific tools to reproduce the stages of food digestion. Fun, learning and experimentation are on the menu for this memorable workshop!
