Mégan Brouillard – Chiendent

House of Arts

Description

"It grows like Quackgrass!" My grandmother used to say that. I didn't know what Quackgrass was. "Y faut arracher le chiendent avant qui pousse en graine!" she'd yell in the summer. To be honest, I thought it was some kind of expression that only my grandmother knew. I also thought it might be an insult. A cross between "son of a bitch" and "fendant". In the end, I learned that Quackgrass is just a normal weed that grows everywhere. Did you know that?

All that to say, this is a run-in show. There's a lot of weed in my hour. I've got to get it out before it goes to seed.

Then we'll get a better look at the flowers I'm trying to grow!

I just hope these flowers don't smell like the old snowbird who perfumes herself in the Christmas kits that come with body lotion, perfume and bath bubbles.

Come and smell.
