Seven wonderful voices for the 7th edition
Some traditions are here to stay, and for the seventh year in a row, the show*Noël: A Tradition in Song*celebratesthe holiday season through music with a stellar cast:Barnev,Joe Bocan,Marie Michèle Desrosiers,Gabrielle Destroismaisons,Luce Dufault,Joël Legendre, andLunou Zucchini.
Directed by Joël Legendre, the show draws on nostalgia, humor, and holiday memories from different generations, notably thanks to the stage debut of Luce Dufault and her daughter Lunou. In addition to Marie Michèle Desrosiers’s timeless classics, there are many other Christmas traditions to explore: Barnev adds a gospel touch to the festivities, Joe Bocan enriches them with his imagination, Gabrielle Destroimaisons throws in a few surprises, and Joël Legendre brings the humor, reviving, among other things, the TV showLa soirée canadienne.
The various scenes unfold against a sparkling backdrop that transforms throughout the show. As musical director, Jacques Roy builds on the excellent work of previous years, infusing the show with a festive atmosphere.
