The basement of the Sainte-Myrtille-du-Bois-des-Prairies church is a place of correction for the village's rascals. All preteens caught disobeying the law are forced to work in the basement thrift shop. Orace Desmarais, Rachel Laporte-Lapointe and Félix Soucy are the three "named" children of the summer. They'll be assisting Berthe, a woman eager for recognition and in charge of the place. One afternoon, as they finish their day's chores, they find themselves trapped in the church basement: Berthe has taken them away to do their chores. As they try to find a way out, they are confronted by a huge creature made up of the village's ugly, abandoned clothes. After many adventures, the youngsters and the creature realize they have more in common than they think, and unite to fight the villainous Berthe, who isn't so villainous after all.

Iris in summer :

When the bell announces the end of the school year, Iris makes a big decision: this year, she won't be taking advantage of summer! Instead, she plans to spend the vacations in between; not quite at school, but not quite at home either. One step forward, two steps back...

Leïla, Charlotte and Zach, an inseparable trio intent on saving the world, will try to help Iris by finding her a new place to live. This forced rescue will give rise to some surprising encounters with three colorful candidates. Will Iris finally agree to take part in the summer? Unless she's allergic to the sun? And in a trio, can there be more than three? These are questions the Big Questions Club would love to answer!
