The Importance of an Active Business Community

Committed to working with the region's meetings and conventions partners to maximize their collective sales efforts in hosting business events in Laval, last year the Tourisme Laval sales team set up the Certified Simplifiers community. Spearheaded by Andrée-Anne Proulx, Sales Director at Tourisme Laval, this professional business development network optimizes actions and creates an active sales force.

Why create the Certified Simplifiers community

Today, this network brings together some thirty experts from various sectors, including meetings and conventions, from different establishments in the region. Building on our expertise in business tourism, we wanted to go one step further and contribute to the destination's reputation among event organizers by offering them, for example, a uniform and complementary service.

What are the advantages of this business community?

Our goal is to offer clients who wish to organize events in Laval a 360-degree service that is consistent and seamless, regardless of the point of contact. This ensures that clients receive services that meet high-quality standards and save them time and energy.

This community allows us to exchange and share information to better understand the region, the activities that can be practised there, and the events that are held there. By mobilizing ourselves, we are on the lookout for new developments and can respond adequately and efficiently to the needs of our clients.
