Your Sales Team’s Favourite Laval Cocktails

Personality is expressed in a thousand and one ways. Today, we've decided to introduce you tothe Simplifier team at Tourisme Laval in an unusual way: by telling you what their favourite Laval cocktail is. No doubt you'll be drinking these lines as you discover not only some of the bars in our beautiful region, but also our Simplifiers, Andrée-Anne Proulx, Justine Chan and Renée Bénard, one drink at a time!

To begin this little trip, Andrée-Anne Proulx, Sales Manager at Tourisme Laval and a great gin lover, would like to introduce you to La Cupola bar at the Sheraton Laval Convention Centre. Always on the lookout for new discoveries and flavours, this is the place for her when it comes to the variety of spirits and especially Quebec gin, which is by far her favourite. If you're not a fan of this cocktail, you'll definitely like the new and original products and the chic but dynamic atmosphere of the bar, just like her. She also trusts the mixologist who concocts a drink made to measure, according to your tastes! So you don't have to be on the go to enjoy Laval's bars.

For Justine Chan, a Sales Agent at Tourisme Laval, fun doesn't have to mean alcohol. If this is also your case, she suggests tasting the virgin mojitos of the restaurant Le Balthazar, her favourite with its relaxed atmosphere and its pub style. This refreshingly minty cocktail is a great way to experience Laval and get away from it all. Lovers of non-alcoholic beers from Quebec will also be pleased, as many are on the menu! In addition to the mocktails, Justine recommends checking out the live bands that play there from Thursday to Saturday. It's a perfect opportunity to discover new talent.

Are you a beer and cocktail lover like Renée Bénard? She invites you to follow her into the springtime world of Les Insulaires Microbrewery. Renée likes to combine beer and spirits in the same cocktail. The Piña Colada smoothie beer is her favourite. According to her, it allows her to feel the good weather without being in the summer season and even in the urban environment of Laval. If the piña colada is her favourite, Renée invites you to try one of the many smoothie beers offered by Les Insulaires (it seems that their new one with mango, peach and guava flavours is a real delight)! Artisanal products are also promoted. What could be better?
