It's this sometimes rugged, but oh-so-authentic land that has forged the identity of the Auvergnats. And it was to meet them that our explorer decided to make this film, traveling through the region that adopted him almost 8 years ago. At each stop, he shows us a new face of the Auvergne and its inhabitants, who value a simple lifestyle, are proud of their traditions and deeply attached to their history.

Patrick Bureau, who has been passionate about travel and adventure for over 20 years, is dedicated to discovering unspoilt nature and people with strong ties to their culture. After having criss-crossed Lapland, Mexico and Thailand, this native of Savoie has now settled in Auvergne, his heartland.
