Laval, June 14, 2023 – Summer is just around the corner, and registration for the Heritage Walks is now open! For the 15th consecutive year, the City of Laval and Réseau ArtHist invite you to explore the streets of Laval’s founding neighborhoods, which are just waiting to reveal their hidden history. Accompanied by dynamic guides and characters straight out of the past, the bygone life of this island—inhabited for over 300 years—will unfold before your eyes.

L’Abord-à-Plouffe and its winegrowers, Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and its sculptors, Sainte-Rose and its vacationers: Laval’s neighborhoods have always been brimming with life. Choose from these three walking tours, available both day and night from July 25 to September 15.

Whether you’re looking to satisfy your curiosity about Laval’s history, explore your interest in theatrical performances, or enjoy outdoor walks, the Heritage Tours offer a unique, lively, and original way to journey through both the everyday and grand history of Laval.

This project is organized by the City of Laval and the ArtHist Network.
