Summer tunes for all tastes all over the island
Laval, June 15, 2023 - From July 9 to August 27, Zones musicales, presented by TD Bank Group, will feature more than 40 free outdoor shows in 8 zones across Laval. The opening show promises to be highly colorful, with Bleu Jeans Bleu, and the sparkling Lisa LeBlanc will perform on the closing weekend. More than 350 artists from a wide variety of musical styles will take to the streets of Laval for this 8th edition, including Diane Tell, Daniel Boucher, Valérie Ékoumè, the Orchestre symphonique de Laval, Ariane Roy, Ramon Chicharron, Marie-Annick Lépine and The Cuban Martinez Show, who will present a tribute to the legendary Cuban band Buena Vista Social Club.

8 zones in enchanting locations
Presented outdoors in parks, on riverbanks and in public squares across the territory, the shows will offer an opportunity to discover or rediscover the diversity of the island, in these unique locations that will be imbued with different rhythms.
The shows will be presented :
- at Bernard-Landry Park;
- in Saint-François;
- in Old Sainte-Dorothée;
- in Old Sainte-Rose;
- to the bank at Quatre-Vents;
- at the Nature Center;
- in Parc Légaré, Chomedey;
- in the courtyard of the Maison des arts de Laval;
- at Place Claude-Léveillée, in the Montmorency district.
Hosting the two closing shows on August 26 and 27, Place Claude-Léveillée will be transformed for the second year running into a veritable urban oasis, complete with terrace, street food, bar and much more. All the elements are in place for a festive, trendy atmosphere in the heart of downtown Laval.
Musical styles to suit all tastes
The event will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in a vast musical universe ranging from pop to jazz, country to folk, world music to classical, and much more, not forgetting the many evenings featuring dancers.
Fans of large-scale shows will particularly appreciate the two concerts by the Orchestre symphonique de Laval on August 15 and 16, in Parc Bernard-Landry. The programs will feature well-known and beloved tunes, including a concert dedicated to the family, with a classical repertoire and classic themes such as E.T., Star Wars and Harry Potter.
