Éco-Nature plans a memorable summer season

Boat rentals, Propel Your Summer events, guided activities, day camps and more!

Laval, May 24, 2022 - Éco-Nature and Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles celebrate the arrival of the summer season on Saturday, June 4, with the weekend opening of the Berge du Garrot boat rental center and the Boisbriand ecomobility ERRE terminal facilities. The rental center and all ERRE terminals, including the reception and service buildings in Bois-des-Filion and Saint-Eustache, will then welcome visitors 7 days a week from June 24 to August 21, 2022, to the delight of the citizens of the towns along the river. This will be an opportunity to discover a host of new sites of interest, and to explore the shores and banks of the Rivière des Mille Îles from the comfort of a human-powered watercraft.

New this season: Propulse ton été launch events will be held at ERRE terminals in Boisbriand (June 18), Bois-des-Filion (July 3) and Saint-Eustache (July 9)! A 25% discount will be granted on boat rentals during these special days, plus additional discounts to be used on future visits. These launch activities are presented jointly by the municipalities, Décathlon and Desjardins.

The beginning of June will see the return of guided family fishing activities, Pêche en herbe, introductory kayak and SUP courses, and kayaking at dusk. Once again this year, these activities can be booked via the Sport Plus website. Please note that Pêche en herbe has been extended for 2022 to 8 to 14 year-olds, and that permits will now be distributed to 6 to 17 year-olds as part of the Guided Family Fishing program.

Finally, young explorers aged 6 to 14 can discover the marvellous environment of the Rivière des Mille Iles from June 27 onwards at the Aventuriers de nature immersive day camps! Wildlife observation, treasure hunts, an introduction to fishing, time travel and a host of other surprises await you.

Our entire team is looking forward to seeing the river terminals come alive this summer!
