Éco-Nature plans a memorable summer season

Boat rentals, Propel Your Summer events, guided activities, day camps and more!

Laval, May 24, 2022 - Éco-Nature and the Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles are celebrating the arrival of the summer season on Saturday, June 4, with the weekend opening of the Berge du Garrot Boat Rental Centre and the Boisbriand Ecomobility ERRE terminal facilities. The rental center and all the ERRE terminals, including the reception and service buildings in Bois-des-Filion and Saint-Eustache, will then be open to visitors seven days a week from June 24 to August 21, 2022, much to the delight of the citizens of the riverside cities. This will be an opportunity to discover many new sites of interest and to travel along the shores and banks of the Mille Îles River on a human-powered watercraft.

New this season: Propel Your Summer launch events will be held at the ERRE terminals in Boisbriand (June 18), Bois-des-Filion (July 3) and Saint-Eustache (July 9)! A 25% discount will be given on boat rentals during these special days, as well as additional discounts to be used on future visits. These launch activities are presented jointly by the municipalities, Decathlon and Desjardins.

The beginning of June will mark the return of the guided activities of Family Fishing, Budding Fisherman, introductory courses in kayaking and SUP, and kayaking at dusk. Reservations for these activities will be made again this year via the Sport Plus website. Note that the Junior Fishing program has been expanded for 2022 to include 8 to 14 year olds and that permits will now be distributed to 6 to 17 year olds as part of the Guided Family Fishing program.

Finally, young explorers between the ages of 6 and 14 will be able to discover the wonderful environment of the Mille Iles River as of June 27 during the immersive Nature Adventurers day camps! Wildlife observation, treasure hunts, fishing initiation, time travel and a host of other surprises will be on the agenda.

Our entire team is looking forward to seeing the river terminals come alive this summer!
